I started the third day in my charactersitic style – getting out of bed late and rushing as usual to get to my appointment with the Citisites NY broker, Scott. I made it there a little past 11 and let Scott take care of the rest of the tour. He showed me some pretty nice apartments – on W 57th, and a couple on W 96th. He was rather easy going and very patient and seemed to have an idea of what I was really looking for. Since Manhattan is so expensive to live in, for my budget, the only apartments you get are studios.
We had lunch at an Indian restaurant and I bade Scott goodbye.
I met up with Tarannum and Masood at Columbus circle and convinced them to come check out 2 bedroom apartments in Newport
I got back home pretty late in the night and discussed the various options I have with Sumanth. I have decided to get a 2 bedroom apartment (with 2 bathrooms) on the 15th floor in Newport since I also plan to find a decent roommate to share the apartment with. It is hard to resist something as nice as this especially when the commute is easy enough and I get to keep my car too!
