Research is fun

I am just too excited to even speak coherently :-) I just received notification from the program committee of LCTES ‘03 that my paper (co-authored with Ron Cytron) titled “Transport Layer Abstraction in Event Channels for Embedded Systems” has been accepted to appear in the proceedings ! I now get to go to San Diego in June to present it – hooray !

Grad school has been one truckload of fun so far. I don’t remember learning so much in such a short time ever before in my life. The quest for elegant solutions to the most complex of problems has given me a joy I don’t think I have experienced before. I only hope that my second (and last) year before I go out into the big, bad world is as much fun.

California, here I come !

Glad to know grad school has been a truckload of fun. It’s been a truckload of $#!+ as far as I’m concerned. On the other side of Brookings, Givens hall doles out learning in difficult ways. See my blog for more details about how much it sux!
