The last two days have been rather strange – I have been rather impossible in that the only emotions I have shown are anger, frustration and hatred. Why in the world, you ask me ? And I have no clue, honestly, why I was behaving like that although it was almost certainly a spillover effect from something else in my daily life. Poor Vidye bore the brunt of it for the most part but she managed to cheer me up for good last night 
She, and of course, Nonda, who made me some yummy scrambled eggs when I went over to her place for some time in the evening yesterday. It was nice to spend time with Nonda and be pampered by all the food – a very gesture considering she had this huge assignment due the next day
Hmm, so now onto what I have been upto since I last posted ? Last night we had a meeting of all participants for Umang’s Diwali celebrations. As is usually the case with meetings where you have too many people and no structure, there was lots of chaos but in the end, it turned out that we did manage to come up with a reasonable programme schedule and guess what, I am going to be acting in the skit and singing the Indian national anthem. Speaking of which, there was a debate yesterday about whether the singing the Indian national anthem [alongwith the American national anthem, of course] was a good idea. And I was quite appalled. Almost like Ravi Rao going, “w00t !” I don’t understand – what in the world can be wrong with playing our country’s national anthem to remind ourselves of a lot of things about where we come from [and a bunch of other things but let us not get into that here]. So I got my way [since Rajneesh and Jai were both very passionate about this] and I really feel happy about this. I really, really want to listen to my country’s anthem at an occasion such as this.
On another front, it seems like what I have been pursuing in my research for the last 5 months or so is finally drawing to a close and things look good. What is my research about you ask ? Ah, a good question but I probably will tell you some other time Anyway so I needed to run this program which generated all possible paths in a graph and man, all I kept seeing was the java.lang.OutOfMemoryError !! How can it possibly run out of memory ! Anyway, -Xmx256m or something should do the trick. Hmm.
Anyway dudes, I am off to take care of some arrangements for the movie and if you are at Wash U, you might really want to come because the movie if awesome and something everybody will enjoy [not just desis ] And methinks the JPEG of the flyer that PowerPoint generated is of really bad quality [the one below] – don’t you agree ? The PS is so much nicer but oh well, it is something you can see instantly.
