Okay, now ordinarily I would be mighty excited that it actually is ‘Fall Break’ out here in Wash U considering how devoid of holidays Americans in general are [compared with how in India we have a whopping 21 holidays through the year
] but then what do you know – it is still a working day for me and the ‘break’ actually lasts till Sunday so I don’t see what the big deal is.
So it has been a day since I posted here so let us see what in my life you ought to be learning about. Thursday was not out of the ordinary really, since my super-duper Sony music system was to be delivered by FedEx, I was at home waiting for it to arrive and sure enough, it did at 1:51 pm. And what a beauty it is – I was quite stunned even as I took it all out and assembled the components. Time and again in my life Sony has always impressed me with the absolutely terrific design, construction and awesome quality of their products. And this one just continues to reaffirm my faith in the world’s leading electronics company.
In the evening I checked out a nice 1995 Nissan Altima alongwith Vidye. The chap turned out to be an Indian – a chap from Hyderabad ! It seemed like a really nice car but I think I am going to wait till I get back from India to buy a new car.
Since I was chatting with Vidye till late at night and listening to lots of music, I got up only at 9:45 this morning and for the first time in a long, long time, listened to some awesome radio as I went through my morning routine. Hehe, as you can see I am quite completely in love with my music system
Natasha pointed me to this website of the World Bank in Hindi and in Telugu
I think that is neat although I am quite skeptical about what institutions like the World Bank actually do.
Hmmm. I am looking forward to a nice Friday evening and weekend, of course
