I awoke this morning again at a horrific 9:40 am – an incident which
has convinced me to believe that I am quite incapable of being a
regular guy who gets up at 7:30 or 8:00 am during the semester 
Surprisingly enough, during the summer I was always up by 8 !
And what did I do all morning ? I broke my head alongwith Binny in
getting some software to just compile on his Solaris box. Can
you believe that, all morning just trying to compile
something ! And the stupid makefiles are so badly done that in the
end, having met with absolutely zero success, I abused the authors in
a manner which would have made even a sailor blush. Bah.
Headed home around 7 pm today – relaxed by cleaning up around the
place, cooking and listening to my ‘Sting and the Police – Best Of’
CD. It brought back memories of our Ganga band doing songs and all the
fun we had in the music room – guess that won’t happen ever again
Read in the Times of India that India had lost 1000 crores in business
revenue thanks to the nationwide bandh called by the Hindu fanatics. I
can understand the anger but why bring the nation to a halt ?
Oh and this business of giving each blog entry a title is really
giving me a tough time – I need to come up with a different name
everyday ! Help !
